Returns Policy
Unwanted or defective items may be returned or exchanged providing they are received within 7 working days of the original delivery date in brand new, unused condition in the original packaging (including labels and care cards).
Return of one item
You will need to complete the Return Form, which can be found at the bottom of the homepage beneath customer information.
Please ensure your goods are returned to the seller you purchased from. Their return address will be displayed on their delivery note, which is included with your item(s). This must be accompanied by a note stating your name, address, email address, contact telephone number, order number, the reason for the return and whether you require a refund or exchange. In the case of unwanted items, you will only receive the value of the items purchased, not the delivery costs.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Return of multiple items
If you are returning multiple goods from multiple sellers please use our Return Form and read our Returns Policy which is provided at the bottom of the homepage. Multiple goods should be returned to In Your Dog House Gifts, 3 Napier Road, Redland, Bristol BS6 6RT UK.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Subject to the above conditions, we will process your request for a replacement item or refund at the earliest opportunity after we receive your goods. We will notify you via email as soon as your request has been processed.
Unless the goods are defective, you will need to pay the cost of returning the goods to us. In the case of defective goods, you will receive a full refund including postage and packaging costs. Please note that proof of postage may be required should an item be lost in transit. We cannot provide refunds or exchanges until such proof is provided.
Refunds will be applied to the credit/debit card used to make the original purchase unless otherwise notified. Refunds will be furnished within 30 days of the accepted request.
If you have requested replacements of a higher value, the difference due will be charged to the card used to pay for the original order.

Exempt Goods
Certain goods are exempt from being returned. These include:
Made to order prints
Greeting cards
Perishable goods such as food, flowers.
Newspapers or magazines.
Gift cards
Downloadable software products
Some health and personal care items
Partial Refunds
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable). These include:
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to them to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
